Amouage
Amouage is a perfume house defined by an uncompromising pursuit of luxury and quality. Founded in Oman in 1983 at the request of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, it was created with a clear ambition: to establish a national perfume house able to stand among the finest in the world.
From the beginning, Amouage set out to unite the most precious raw materials of the East with the savoir-faire of leading Western perfumers. Frankincense, rose, jasmine, and oud, ingredients deeply rooted in Omani culture, are interpreted through the work of master perfumers including Guy Robert, Alberto Morillas, and Jean-Claude Ellena.
Amouage is often described as expensive, yet its luxury has a clear rationale. The house uses high dosages of rare, costly materials not as decoration, but as the structural core of each fragrance. Natural oud, iris, dense resins, and, at times, ambergris are woven into complex compositions that feel rich, full, and distinctive.
