Escentric Molecules
Escentric Molecules is a radical perfume house founded in 2006 by perfumer Geza Schoen, built around a disruptive idea: where art meets science. Initially created with 100% synthetic molecules, the brand helped define the concept of anti-perfume, scents that do not announce themselves, but exist as an aura rather than a statement.
At the centre of the house is Molecule 01, which represents the vast majority of the brand’s following. “It’s like I don’t wear perfume, but people tell me I smell good” is the line that made it iconic. These fragrances are elusive by nature, often hard to perceive on yourself, yet remarkably persistent and noticeable to others.
Escentric Molecules is not about notes, themes, or storytelling. It is about effect: the glow around the wearer, an indirect presence, the sensation that something is there without being fully grasped. The result is an olfactory mirage—clean, modern, and addictive.
