Room 1015
Room 1015 was founded by Michael Partouche, also known as Dr. Mike, a musician and trained pharmacist who chose fragrance as his medium of expression. The brand takes its name from an infamous hotel room associated with rock ’n’ roll excess and creative chaos, transforming counterculture into scent.
Here, music is not a metaphor but the framework. Punk, surf culture, spiritual exploration, underground clubs, frontwomen rewriting history, Sunset Boulevard muses, cannabis rituals, the first opening of a guitar case in the 1990s, each fragrance is built around a cultural moment and translated into a clear olfactory statement.
The style is bold, accessible, and fun, with a direct, wearable hook. Fruity-leather contrasts in Cherry Punk, surf-inspired watermelon and coconut in Wavechild, cannabis-inflected greens in Sweet Leaf, metallic woods in Electric Wood, and clean bubblegum accords in Love-O-Matic sketch a house that plays with pop references while taking composition seriously. Created with perfumers such as Jérôme Epinette, also associated with Byredo, and Jérôme di Marino, also associated with Acqua di Parma, the fragrances are backed by real craftsmanship.
