Inspired by the cold, unsettling presence of the Marquis de Sade, Attaquer Le Soleil is built around an exceptionally high concentration of cistus labdanum. Instead of turning the note into a softened amber accord, Quentin Bisch lets its dense, resinous texture remain stark and exposed, darkened by incense, cashmeran, and tobacco, with only a faint flicker of red berry brightness. Smoky, woody, and severe, it wears with a raw, uncompromising intensity.
