Like a fairy tale, Il Etait Un Bois – “Once Upon a Forest” – unfolds into an unmistakable yet innovative green vetiver. This new eau de parfum leaves behind the sometimes smoky facets of the wood, instead embracing the powdery and even nutty elements of the grass.
The result has a hint of buckwheat, while simultaneously paying homage to the discontinued Bois Farine from the same brand.
VETIVER
Originating from India, vetiver thrives in the volcanic soil of Haiti and on the Indonesian island of Java. It is known for its earthy, smoky characteristics.
CEDARWOOD
A staple in perfumery, cedarwood evokes the scent of wood shavings. This note provides structure, weaving through the fragrance from start to finish.
BUCKWHEAT
