Inspired by the subtle trail of bintsuke oil – the traditional wax worn by sumo wrestlers – this fragrance is a study in quiet strength and warmth. It opens with a brisk blend of eucalyptus and anise, giving way to a soft, powdery heart of violet, heliotrope, and a hint of cinnamon. The drydown is gentle and resinous: sandalwood and patchouli enveloped in labdanum and a whisper of jasmine. Worn close to the skin, it feels both grounded and oddly comforting.
