A place of pilgrimage located at over 2,500 meters in altitude, the Christian city of Lalibela in Ethiopia is a place of mystery. Legend has it that angels came down from heaven to build its twelve churches in a single night, in the 12th century. Inspired by devotion and ritual, Lalibela brings together incense, stone and flowers in a warm floral amber. Rose and jasmine unfold over frankincense, labdanum and patchouli, softened by vanilla. Rich yet intimate, it leaves a smoky, floral trail with a meditative warmth.
