More about Outlands
Part of The Amouage Essences, Outlands was created by Cécile Zarokian as an olfactory expression of time, depth, and transformation. Like the other fragrances in the collection, it contains 30% pure perfume oils and undergoes a six-month aging process, including a double infusion with sandalwood chips and artisanal oakwood barrels, which gives the composition a fuller, more layered character.
The scent opens with bright citrus, led by zesty lemon, before patchouli expands through the heart with heat, humidity, and verdant depth. A resin-rich amber accord settles underneath, drawing the fragrance into warmer, more remote territory and giving it a rich, evolving finish on skin.
